A The Hollywood Reporter neves rovatvezetője, Scott Feinberg idén is összeszedte az Oscar-esélyes filmek listáját. A 13 kategória (Legjobb -film, -főszereplő, -forgatókönyv, -animáció, -betétdal…) jelöltjeit 5 különböző csoportba osztotta be, köztük a “legesélyesebbek”, “meglepetést okozhatnak”, “lehetséges jelölésig juthatnak”, “szinte esélytelenek” és “bemutatás előtt állnak”, mely jelzi, hogy ezeket a filmeket még nem látta, így ezek a bemutatásukat követően jócskán átformálhatják a listát. Feinberg felállított rangsorát a filmekről alkotott személyes tapasztalatai, az alkotásokról elérhető nyilvános információk (trailerek, bemutatódátumok, színészek lisátja stb.), az elhozott díjaik és a kollégáival (filmrendezők, a sajtó tagjai) folytatott konzultációk alapján hozta létre. Már csak azért is érdemes Scott Feinberg listáját áttanulmányozni, mivel többnyire valóra válnak a jóslatai, nem nagyon szokott tévedni.
